This is a hot water bath made by Bausch & Lomb for the soflens contact lenses. B&L catalog number is 140306. This is referred to as the aseptor-professional unit. It is in perfect working order and can be used for its original purpose or can be adapted to any lab procedure needing a hot water bath. Three quarts of water heats up very hot. The bottom of the tank measures 14" x 7.5". The height of the tank is 3.8". The timer isn't marked but works perfectly and shuts off the heaters when it finishes its countdown. The full timer runs approximately 1 hour, 4 minutes. The overall dimensions of the unit are 21" x 11" x 6.5". Stainless steel lid included.
